SAFETY STANDARDS FOR DRIVERS:
1.
Anyone driving a company vehicle must carry an official
valid drivers licence.
2.
Pass
EH& S driver assessment tests.
3.
The
driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle, its
load and its passengers.
4.
Wearing seat belts is obligatory.
5.
They
must be fastened before the vehicle is moved. Personal use
of company vehicle is strictly forbidden. ,
6.
Transportation of any personnel not employed by the company,
is only allowed with prior agreement of the party chief.
7.
The
company's speed limits should be implemented. (As per
driving policy chart).
8.
NO
SMOKING while driving.
9.
Each
morning, before turning on the engine, the driver must
check; -

Oil level.

Battery level.

·
Brake fluid level.

·
Radiator water level

·
Fan belt.

·
Lights.
-
·
Spare wheels.
-
·
Jack, jack -handle, jack plate, wheel brace, gloves.

Water supply.

Check Radio (working).

First Aid kit (to re-stock).

Seat belts.

Tire pressure.
10- After starting the
vehicle, check; - .The oil pressure.

11-The driver must inform his supervisor of any problems
with the vehicle or any equipment missing from the vehicle.
12-The driver is responsible for the cleanness of the
vehicle, after washing the vehicle; rubbish should be
disposed of in a dustbin.
